Internal Combustion Engine Test Bench

The Internal Combustion Engine Test Bench is supplied with a complete computer system, which streamlines the test work. The Internal Combustion Engine Test Bench system is designed for the study and the understanding of the four stroke gasoline combustion engine.

The test bench includes two parts: one is the test engine - a four-stroke gasoline engine, and the second one is the breaking system (a three-phase asynchronous motor controlled by inverter) and it can act both as motor and generator. With Internal Combustion Engine Test Bench equipment, students can perform the necessary tests to obtain the engine characteristic data referred to the performance of the engine. Students will become familiar with the curves shown by manufacturers to demonstrate the performance characteristics of the engines. The experiments can be performed manually or automatically, students will have to indicate just the required variables and the number of points to be plotted on the graph. Thus, no more time wasted writing down or plotting graphs.
