  • Description

It is considered essential equipment for health structures and emergency rescue team (to be available in emergency room, delivery room, operating theatre, intensive care unit, ambulance, etc.). Resuscitators are used for ventilation assistance in critical situations of respiratory distress or failure. Resuscitator intended for full-term babies, preterm and low-weight infants up to 7 kg.

Specification

Hand-operated in a horizontal position.
Portable, self-inflating and reusable
The resuscitator has an inlet valve with a nipple for oxygen tubing.
The resuscitator is equipped with a non-rebreather valve.
Resuscitator can be fully disassembled, is easy to clean, disinfect, and reassemble.
The resuscitator is autoclavable between 121°C and 134°C.
The capacity of the self-inflating ventilation bag is between 250 - 280ml.
Ventilation can be done with ambient air or with oxygen.
The pressure release valve is equipped with a feature allowing it to be overridden by the user when higher pressures need to be generated in the airways.
The resuscitator is equipped with a pressure release (limiting) valve which safeguards against generating ventilation pressures over 45 cmH?O, while still allowing for airway pressures up to at least 30 cmH?O.
All parts are manufactured from high-strength, long-life materials that require no special maintenance or storage conditions.
The resuscitator, all its components and accessories are free of natural rubber latex.
When the pressure release valve is not overridden by the user, it should either automatically return to its default position whereby it protects against excess pressures or be clearly visible so there is no doubt as to its closed position, even during an emergency. To ensure users are fully aware that the limiting valve is in closed position.
