The Fluid Science Energy Losses in BendsSystems Tray provides hands on experimentation designed to demonstrate energylosses due to the geometry of the flow path at different flow rates.
Differential pressure reading is takenusing a digital manometer against varying flow rates.
Utilising the service unit theexperiments rapidly mount onto the multifunctional work panel and is connectedto the built-in water supply via quick connect couplings.
The tray includes the following Hydraulic Circuits:
Energy losses in Bends
Mitre Bend, 6mm diameter.
Shallow bend Radii 75mm, 6mm diameter
Tight Bend Radii 25mm, 6mm diameter.
