Endotracheal tube shall meet the standards concerning the dimension, the tube, the point, the cuff and the marking.
Endotracheal tube with:
Cuff located near the distal end: Low pressure cuff, inflating system with valve and Luer tip connector.
Standard connector (ext. Ø 15mm) at the proximal end enabling the tube to be connected to the ventilation system.
Open distal end and Magill-type point with oral angle of 37.5º.
Radio opaque mark.
With Murhpy's eye.
Material: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
Sterile.
Disposable.
Graduations.
Size: Ø internal 8mm.
Initial sterilisation method: Ethylene oxide gas or Gamma radiation.
