A Compressed Air Refrigeration Training Bench for studying refrigeration using compressed air. Using the whirling motion of a specially designed and shaped vortex distributor, the compressed air expands and is divided into a cold stream and a hot stream. This is an unusual method of producing cold air by the expansion of compressed air. The cold stream is utilised and the hot stream is exhausted into the environment.

Advanced Refrigeration Training Unit is a multiple circuit unit, incorporating important secondary controls, is constructed entirely from standard commercial components and will give the student invaluable experience in fault diagnosis, system adjustment and replacement of faulty components.
The Advanced Refrigeration Training Unit is a fully operational, small scale cold room, which enables the student to relate all test results, system faults and adjustments directly to situations encountered in service and maintenance.

The hermetic condensing Reverse Cycle Refrigeration and Air Con Training Unit has a high starting torque motor with built-in winding protector, air-cooled condenser and liquid receiver. Reverse Cycle Refrigeration and Air Con Training Unit unit demonstrates both refrigeration and air conditioning principles as well as operation of two evaporators on one compressor by means of an evaporator pressure regulator. These comprise: Automatic expansion valve; internal equalised thermostatic expansion valve; External equalised thermostatic expansion valve. and Capillary tube with separate filter drier. The 30-Day Temperature Recorder (30DTR) can be connected to a PC via an USB interface cradle (LTI-HID) and generates a 32-day report via the free Analyzer 3 software, including all relevant information per day such as min/max and average temperatures, time out of range, alarm history etc. Data can be exported from the software in CSV file format.
The device shows the actual temperature, all alarm violations over the previous 30 days (on a rolling basis), the daily minimum and maximum temperature of the last 30 days, and the time duration of any violation. The Trainer On Domestic Refrigerators With Two Evaporators And Hermetic Compressor allows to study the circuit layout adopted in the normal domestic refrigerators with freezing room, fitted with positive temperature evaporator, negative temperature evaporator and hermetic compressor. A wheeled frame carries a horizontal working panel, fitted with a 80 mm clamp, and a vertical frame, where the main components of the unit and a screen printed synoptic panel are mounted at sight. The refrigerant is (HFC), CFC free, and the unit includes the measuring instruments that are necessary to monitor operating parameters and to test the refrigerator circuit. The student can rise his knowledge about the main components of a refrigerator plant, experiment the problems due to the filling and the emptying of the circuit and, at last, simulate some simple faults. The refrigerator circuit is made of copper pipes. The set of equipment and the vacuum and recharge station allow a fast assembly and disassembly of the refrigerator circuit.
