The controller can operate as a configurable PID controller and as a 2-point controller. In the latter case, as well as the setting of the reference variable, the hysteresis can also be pre-set. The recorder function provides continuous recording of controlled, manipulating and reference variables. The software ideally supports the experimentation and learning process of demonstration models. Its key features are the software controller and the recorder function. It plots responses to changes in the reference (e.g. step input) and disturbance variables. The controller included with each demonstration unit can also be used instead of the software controller. Measured values can be printed out and saved to data media. Connection to a PC is by a USB port. The supplied USB interface module provides an adequate number of analogue inputs and outputs, enabling even complex circuits, such as a cascade to be controlled. In this case, controlled, manipulating and reference variables can be plotted, displayed and saved by the program's recorder function.

This fully functional trainer incorporates a pneumatic wing de-ice system using a vacuum/pressure ejector boot control valve and pressure switches. An electric motor driven vacuum pump provides system pressure and suction. The Aircraft Ice & Rain Protection and Control System Trainer incorporate all aspects of de-icing and rain protection system found in an aircraft. Propeller deicing is done with an electrically heated propeller boot. A timer control operates the cycle of the propeller de-ice system. Windshield heating is done through internally built heating elements. The trainer offers the opportunity to the students to physically see the various components and assemblies of the system and to understand the interaction between them.

....The device indicates via a visual alarm when an exposure to temperatures below -0.5°C for longer than 60 minutes has occurred. The device needs to be activated prior to use and once an alarm has been triggered, cannot be re-used. The Freeze Alert is an electronic Irreversible Freeze Indicator (IFI) with an internal sensor, factory-programmed alarm, and visual display for indicating a freeze event during transport or storage of freeze-sensitive vaccines.

The distributor's mainfunction is to route secondary, or high voltage, current from the ignition coilto the spark plugs in the correct firing order, and for the correct amount oftime. A distributor isan enclosed rotating shaft used in spark-ignition internal combustionengines that have mechanically-timed ignition.

Self contained, fully operational Ignition Turret trainer, manufactured using realcomponents.
With the useof timing light, timing advance and retard can be observed, effected byvariable speed and vacuum control. Open circuit and high resistance faults areincluded on these trainers to aid diagnostic training.
Operation ofthe Ignition System can be observed through the transparent spark plug cover. A variable spark plug gap adjuster will aid in the demonstration of how voltageis affected by an increased air gap.
These IgnitionTurrets offers an enhanced training resource, hands on training with realcomponents, greater understanding for the student with out the constraints ofthe modern motor vehicle.
Useful aidfor demonstrating primary and secondary ignition patterns.
Testing ofthese Ignition Trainers can be carried out in the same manner as if stillfitted to the original vehicle.
