It shows the composition and working principle of the automobile airbag system. The teaching board uses new Passat airbag system components.
Structure and composition:
Airbag computer, crash sensors, fault setting and troubleshooting systems, large-capacity battery or 12V switch power supply, compressed air tank, left and right airbag, computer engraving circuit schematics panel, mobile stand, etc.
Features:
The panel is equipped with airbag component. It can fully display the structure of the airbag so that students can have good understanding of each component.
It has the troubleshooting areas and fault setting areas, multiple faults can be set.
The electrical signals of the airbag system, such as resistance, voltage, current, frequency, etc., can be directly measured.
Reading fault codes and clearing fault codes of the airbag control unit can be done by instrumentation.
The whole working process of collision sensors - Computers - spiral cable - the inflatable element - airbags detonated can be displayed when the sensor collision receive the collision signal by the indicator on the panel.
This allows working with original manufacturer documents and circuit diagrams. These components are exposed for easy access. Standard diagnostic testers can be connected via the OBD interface. The training model consists of all the original components of a Golf V airbag system. The connections of all functionally relevant sensors and actuators and the control units andcomponents are original connections as in the vehicle. The training equipment contains non-ignitable airbags and belt tensioners. Thus, asafe handling and troubleshooting is possible.
Characteristics:
Originalcomponents: Airbag control unit, Driver airbag, Coil spring, Steering columnelectronics, Passenger airbag, Side airbag, Crash sensor for front and rearside airbag, Instrument cluster with indicator lamps, Belt pretensioner fordriver and passenger, Belt buckle for driver and passenger with belt buckleretainer, Passenger seat occupancy recognition (for belt check), Switching off the passenger airbag via key-switch, OBD Diagnosis connection.
Aluminum frame profile on castors with extra-large tabletop, control panels, OBDconnector
Fully functional airbag training model, original components VW Golf 5, specially prepared for training purposes.
The Air Bag portion of the trainer is a nonfunctional disarmed unit. The Supplemental Inflatable Restraint Dual Air Bag System trainer uses an actual SIR System that electrically responds and operates as in the automobile.
Features:
Provides an advanced level of instruction by duplicating actual on-vehicle troubleshooting procedures.
Actual new vehicle components, connectors, and factory wire colors.
Courseware includes Instructor Guide, Student Manual, and Service Manual Information.
Crash simulation using sensor impact push switches and bag deployment strobe.
Intermittent and hard fault codes can be inserted using the built-in keypad, a single computer.
Ability to perform actual service manual test procedures.
Performing airbag disposal procedures
Study of removal and installation of system components.
Provide light-weight, impervious protection against bio-hazards. Smooth Gowns are in compliance with FDA's liquid and aerosol blood resistance testing requirements.
Easy, tear-away feature for quick gown removal and safe disposal
Contoured thumb loops secure gown sleeve for added protection
Redirects stress to the film material not the thermal seals to minimize breakage potential
Full-length open back affords better comfort and shoulder coverage
Provides liquid and aerosol blood resistance
Lightweight, non-linting construction.
Successfully tested for liquid and aerosol blood resistance under Synthetic Blood Penetration Resistance and Bacteriophage Penetration Resistance
In compliance with OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standard
Superior physical properties over imports
They have a light, non-linting construction for greater comfort.
In compliance with FDA requirements and tested in accordance with ASTM standards including Breaking Load, Tensile Strength and Elongation.
The SRS Air Bag Trainer allows students to understand the fundamentals of air bag systems as used in todays vehicles. Using the trainer, students will learn to recognize the main components, study various operation settings, and experiment with analytic and diagnostic methods using a diagnostic scan tool. Built with OEM components, the trainer functions in the same way as in the original vehicle with the difference that a light is used instead of the exploding airbag. A built-in lockable manual fault box is included.
Educational Advantages:
Ability to demonstrate complete SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) function in a classroom
Steering wheel can be safely removed and reinstalled during diagnosis or system testing
Full OEM diagnostic functionality supporting OBDII scan tool readout with OEM DTCs
Instrumentation demonstrating air bag deployment.
Equipment And Features:
Integrated SRS breakout box with test points for all terminals sized for standard meter leads
All OEM components, wiring, connectors and wire colors
OBDII data link connector
Manual fault box for SRS control module with 10 faults.
