The trainer is equipped with thermal protection, low-stop-high push-button and two (2) pilot lamps to indicate respectively low and high speed. Specifications and/or diagrams are silk-screened on the back of a clear-plastic front panel for ease of identification. In all electrical aspects the simulatorbehaves like a standard motor car and normal test procedures may be carried outas on a car. This simulator is designed for maximumaccessibility, making it easy to demonstrate to students for the workingfunctions of the various components.
The trainer also allows the students to become familiar with real process in permitting them to connect the different components of the system, initiate different calibrations and set up tuning parameters. The Basic Instrumentation and Control Trainer was developed so as to enable students to practice the notions of instrumentation, regulation, control and automation of continuous process. The different educational aspects are taken into consideration during the conception, as well as assuring that the final assembly will be easy to move, sturdy, attractive, safe, flexible, and versatile. The assembly is mounted, inspected and delivered to be used immediately.

The Centrifugal Contacts are loaded on a spring board installed on the coupling shaft, and is designed to demonstrate the braking of motor. This unit must be included in the mechanical load assembly jointly with the mounting base, the magnetic shoe brake and an inertia wheel. The brake is controlled by a contact that is normally open or closed.
