The instrument panel interface allows students to measure the outputs and determine efficiency. The system is mounted on a sturdy mobile 2x2 welded powder coated steel frame and has a student workbench. Solar Wind Hybrid Trainer has combined two of the most viable "green" electrical generation systems from carbon-free energy sources in the Using standard solar PV panels and circuit controls to safely charge the batteries, both the wind and solar photovoltaic concepts are presented so students learn how these systems work. The instrument module provides accurate power output readings. Also, an inverter is included for the power to be converted back to AC use in appliances. The engine is operated from a semi-enclosed test cell cabin that has all the necessary instrumentation and controls to run the engine. The trainer comes complete with an operational piston engine. The engine is connected to propeller assembly including spinner and governor. The engine trainer may be mounted on wheels for easy mobility as shown above. The engine is mounted with all necessary electrical wiring, engine accessories, controls, and instruments that are needed for running the engine. The students may also be trained to remove and replace parts for field level maintenance practice. The Flash Drum Trainer With PLC is a bench-scale plant that demonstrates continuous separation of a binary mixture of water saturated with carbon dioxide. The process has instrumentation to provide for control of operating flow, temperature, level and pressure.
Function of Flash Drum Trainer With PLC
Flash Drum Trainer With PLC trainer separates a water CO2 mixture in a see-through, industrial glass vessel. The trainer is equipped with process measurement and control devices. The separation of volatile gasses dissolved in a liquid and recovery of the components usually involves a flash drum. Flash drum operations are found throughout the petroleum, petrochemical and numerous other industries. The entire trainer is controlled from a programmable logic controller computer interface (PLC). It has one each of temperature, pressure, level and flow controls.

This product helps students to understand the use of this engine withadditional exhaust nozzle control, on practical applications such as jetaircraft. A steel frame holds a gas generator, combustion chamber, oil and fueltanks, pumps, ancillaries and guards. Above these is an instrumentation andcontrol panel with schematic diagram. A self-contained, fully instrumented, educational singleshaft gas turbine with reheat. Powered by kerosene, the experimental abilitiesof this high-quality apparatus enable comprehensive practical investigationsinto the principles, and performance of single-shaft gas turbines with reheat. The clearly labelled control panel withmimic diagram includes the instrument displays, controls and warning lights. It then passes through a variable area propelling nozzle. The exhaust gases thendischarge to a suitable exhaust system. The combustion chamber gives excellentcombustion, low pressure loss and good flame stability over a wide range ofconditions. Air passes into an air box, through a calibrated nozzle into a compressor, theninto the combustion chamber. A pump transfers fuel from the fuel tank to spraythrough a special nozzle into the combustion chamber. A high-energy sparkignites the air and fuel mixture that flows to a radial flow turbine, then tothe reheat section. This increases the temperature and velocity of the gas. A secondhigh-energy spark in the reheat section ignites the reheat fuel. This creates asecondary burn using some of the remaining oxygen in the hot exhaust gasesleaving the turbine. A fuel flow control valve on the instrumentation and control panelregulates the turbine speed. This design reduces the possibility of over speed. A separate control adjusts the fuel flow to the reheat section.
