The Standardized Oil Distillation Plant unit is equipped with a computer controlled system to control both atmospheric-type and vacuum-type distillation processes. It is also equipped with a software suitable to process the acquired data. The Standardized Oil Distillation Plant was designed to provide the User with a discontinuous distillation plant to comply with the relevant to the distillation of crude oils. The system is made of heat insulated borosilicate glass, the column is provided with glass plates equivalent to 15 theoretical plates. A motor driven system enables to draw up to 12 fractions to standardize the crude oil. Moreover, the system is equipped with all required control and safety instruments to enable highly reliable operating conditions. The condensation and reflux areas are integrated in an unblock type structure. The 10 liters boiler is located in a stainless steel container including three quartz resistors to provide the required heating to carry out the tests.
