The Concrete Water Impermeability Tester Three Points apparatus is supplied complete with graduated burettes fixed on the front panel. Concrete Water Impermeability Tester Three Points apparatus is used to determine the depth of penetration of the water into the concrete (impermeability) under known time and pressure. The water penetrated is measured by breaking the specimen, or by reading the water permeated through the graduated burette. The unit accepts concrete cubic, cylindrical or prismatic specimens having max. dimensions of 200x200x200 mm. A manometer checks constantly the applied water pressure. A known water pressure is applied on the specimens surface for a known time, as requested by Standard, using a suitable air compressor having at least 5 bar pressure.

This equipment consists of high power drills fitted with long drill rods to allow the boring of the hole in the model. An electric hand-drilling machine drives the drilling rod and that is supported on a slide which is arranged at a guide way. Self Propulsion Test Ship models have to be supplied with models manufactured with holes to pass the propeller shaft and stern tube assembly. The guide way for the drilling machine is attached to a vertical slide so that the position in height of the drilling rod can be adjusted. Cussons can supply equipment to drill the holes in the stern tube at the time of manufacture. At the end of the guide way the drilling rod is supported by a bushing. Furthermore the inclination of the guide way with the drilling rod can be adjusted at the vertical slide.

The anaerobic digester comprises two 5 litre upward-flow packed bed reactors with feed rate and temperature control facilities to allow steady, continuous operation at up to seven litres per day over periods of many days.
The temperature of each reactor is controlled by an electric heating mat wrapped around the external wall. The temperature distribution within each reactor is maintained to ±0.5°C. Reactor temperatures may be separately set at any desired value in the range ambient to 55°C.
The reactors may be operated in series or parallel. The flow rates to the vessels are set and controlled by calibrated peristaltic pumps. A buffer vessel between the reactors permits discharge of excess flow from the first reactor when the second reactor is operated in series but at a lower flow rate.
Liquid and gas sampling points are located at all strategic points around the reactors. Non-return valves and liquid seal syphon breaks are included in the process pipework to ensure each reactor operates at a constant volume without the ingress of air or the danger of accidental syphonic action.
The equipment is mounted on a vacuum formed plastic base with an integral drain channel to cope with spillages and wash down.
The gas off-take from each reactor is taken to a volumetrically calibrated collector vessel operating by water displacement. The collected gas can be exhausted from the vessel and the volume re-filled with water during a run without breaking the liquid seal. A constant head, liquid seal device ensures that the gas pressure in the reactor is maintained at a constant value throughout the test run.
A device designed for total elimination and/or inactivation of microorganisms from medical devices and related products using pressurized steam (i.e., moist heat) as the sterilizing agent; it is used for products non-sensitive to high temperature, water, or steam.
