The asynchronous motor represents the most important and simple case in the area of poly phase machines and it is the most wide spread for industrial applications as food, chemical, metallurgical industries, paper factories or water treatment and extractive systems. The Bench for the Study of Three Phase Asynchronous Motors is a multi purpose bench for the study and characterization of three phase a synchronous motors of the series.
The characteristic key of this bench is its total modularity which means:
To configure complete solutions without creating duplication of equipment
To couple each motor with the electromagnetic brake
To be able to buy the bare essentials.
Among three-phase power supply the synchronous machines are widely used and they called so because the speed of the rotor of these machines are the same as the rotating magnetic field. They are commonly used as generators especially for large power systems, such as turbine and hydroelectric generators in the grid power supply. Because the rotor speed is proportional to the frequency of excitation,synchronous motors can be used in situations where constant speed drive is required. Since the reactive power generated by a synchronous machine can be adjusted by controlling the magnitude of the rotor field current, unloaded synchronous machines are also often installed in power systems solely for power factor correction or for control of reactive kVA flow. Their construction is almost similar to that a three-phase induction motor except the fact that the rotor is given DC supply.

The liquid therapeutic diet is intended for stabilisation phase of treatment of children diagnosed with SAM. It is intended to stabilize the child’s metabolism and support rehydration. The apparatus consists of a vertical stack of specimens clamped between an electrically heated source at the top and a water cooled base, all contained within a Dewar vessel and furnished with a radiation shield and anti convection baffle. The heating current is supplied from a variable voltage power pack and displayed on a digital ammeter. The specimens are fitted with very small thermocouples at known distances apart and connected via a selector switch to a digital temperature readout. Cooling water is supplied from the constant head water tank mounted above the Dewar vessel. The assembly is contained in a thermally insulated enclosure to minimise heat losses. The heat flowmeter gives an output to a digital panel meter on the special control and instrumentation console. A compact unit designed for the direct measurement of the Thermal Conductivity of a wide range of liquid and gases. The unit is complementary to the Thermal Conductivity of Building and Insulating Materials Unit. The simple calibration procedure enables the effect of incidental heat transfer to be determined and the unit is supplied complete with a console for the control and display of temperatures and heat input.

Thermal Conductivity Of Non Metallic Materials bench top unit is for testing of thermal conductivity of non-metallic materials using guarded hot plates. The assembly is encased in a test cabinet with insulation. The cold plates are clamped together to provided a uniform pressure. A service module provides power supply and heater control unit, power measurement unit and temperature indicators. The equipment consists of a central heater with hot plates, a guard ring with heater and hot plates, and two water cooled cold plates. The convection of the liquid is observed by heating the glass tube with an alcohol lamp, and the expansion of the liquid in the conical flask is followed by a rise in temperature and a gas expansion. The instrument is mainly used to explore the thermal conductivity of different metal materials, through two different heat conduction way, temperature change color film and candle melting speed to compare.
