The convection of the liquid is observed by heating the glass tube with an alcohol lamp, and the expansion of the liquid in the conical flask is followed by a rise in temperature and a gas expansion. The instrument is mainly used to explore the thermal conductivity of different metal materials, through two different heat conduction way, temperature change color film and candle melting speed to compare.
....The intensity of thermal and visible radiation can be adjusted. Colour filters and apertures extend the range of experiments. The measured values are displayed digitally on the measuring unit. The experimental unit contains a blackbody emitter with a thermopile for the investigation of thermal radiation, a light source with luxmeter for illuminance measurements, and absorption plates with thermocouples for the investigation of Kirchhoff's laws. The data acquisition software is included. At the same time, the measured values can also be transmitted directly to a PC via USB.
....This tabletop learning system showcases a full range of components, such as a fire syringe, a vacuum hand pump, bi-metallic ball and ring, and many more on a vertical panel for easy access and inventory. Thermal Science Learning System provides learners with the knowledge and equipment needed to comprehend the principles of modern thermal systems, such as HVAC, geothermal, refrigeration, and steam systems. These components are used in various combinations to conduct experiments that show learners physical examples of thermal concepts and build foundational knowledge that they can use in real-world applications. As learners progress through the curriculum, they will perform experiments demonstrating principles such as the ideal gas law, linear and volumetric thermal expansion, basic temperature measurement, latent and sensible heat, specific heat capacity, conduction, convention, radiation, evaporative cooling, and basic refrigeration.
....The heat extracted is transferred to the hot reservoir, together with heat generated by the electrical supply to the peltier device. This heat is removed by a water-cooled heat exchanger. The flow rates can be adjusted to provide a range of operating temperatures. By varying the electric power into the system, the behaviour of the system at different operating points and temperatures can be established. The thermo-electric Peltier device is positioned in a heat transfer path, between two copper blocks, extracts heat from one block (cold reservoir) and transfers it to the other block (hot reservoir). In order to measure the heat transfer rate, the cold reservoir is fitted with an electric heater.
Instrumentation is provided to measure the temperatures of the blocks, the electric power supplied to the Peltier device, the cooling water flow rate and the cooling water temperature rise.
The Peltier device can also be used to generate a small quantity of electric power when a temperature difference is applied. This effect can also be demonstrated. The heater power is measured , and so it is possible to establish a complete energy balance for the system.

INTENDED USE
A hand-held, battery-powered, electronic instrument designed to measure a patient's body temperature. These variations of the electrical characteristics are processed in the electronic circuits and in turn displayed, for a short period, as temperature readings. Thereafter the display will automatically turn off or go into standby mode. This is a reusable device. It comprises of an electronic unit that detects and converts the changes in temperature into variations of some electrical characteristic, e.g., resistance or voltage.
A hand-held, electrically-powered instrument designed to estimate the temperature of a site on the skin (e.g., axilla, forehead) by measurement of body infrared emissions at this particular point. This device may be used in the home. This is a reusable device. It provides a method to determine temperature patterns or variations on the surface of the skin (e.g., due to differences in perfusion).

Internal pressure is applied to the cylinder by mean of a hydraulic hand pump. Pressure in the cylinder is indicated on a pressure gauge. A hand screw is attached to one end of the frame to operate a piston on one side of the cylinder. Thin Cylinder Experiment is used for studying the stresses in a thin wall cylinder. The strain gauges are fixed onto the cylinder at different angles. Each strain gauge is wired to form a full bridge with temperature compensation gauge and zero adjustment in a bridge box with strain gauge indicator. A thin wall aluminum alloy cylinder is mounted on a rigid steel frame. By applying the hand screw, only circumferential stress occurs on the cylinder or both circumferential and axial stresses occur.
Experiments:
Measurement of strains and stresses under internal pressures.
Comparison of theoretical stresses and strains with experimental values.
Determination of Youngâ„¢s modulus an Poissons ratio.
