The fuel gauge consists of a precision-calibrated two-bulb pipette and control valves. It mounts on the instrumentation frame of the test set and connects between the fuel tank and the engine under test. Students record the time taken to consume a set volume of fuel, from which they can accurately calculate the flow rate.Suitable for use with petrol or diesel. Fuel enters the pipette from the tank. The fuel supply from the tank is then cut off via a valve so that the engine draws fuel from the pipette only.

The Standardized Oil Distillation Plant unit is equipped with a computer controlled system to control both atmospheric-type and vacuum-type distillation processes. A motor driven system enables to draw up to 12 fractions to standardize the crude oil. The condensation and reflux areas are integrated in an unblock type structure. The instrumentation includes temperature sensors, two differential water pressure sensors, a mechanical level sensor (float switch) and an electronic level sensor (conductivity). It includes a variable volume process tank, a hot water tank with electric heater and indirect heating/cooling coil, a hot water pump, two non-dedicated pumps, three on/off solenoid valves and a proportioning valve. This allows the configuration to be quickly changed, offering a wide variety of different loops. The inlets and outlets of the various pumps, valves and tanks incorporate self-sealing quick release fittings.

A pressure regulating valve with filter is also included to isolate the equipment from fluctuations in the water supply pressure.
