The measurement of the bio electrical phenomena is, therefore, used to learn the electrochemical activity of such tissues. The most widely used bio electrical signals, such as the electro cardiogram, the electroencephalogram and the electromiogram, have a very low amplitude and are generated by sources that have a high internal impedance. In this course we will study first of all the general specifications of the systems for the measurement of bio electrical signals and subsequently the characteristics of some special systems. This course comprises a further instrument, the ECG Simulator, which is mandatory to provide power supply to the circuit and provides a simulated ECG signal for performing experimental activity. The bio-electrical potentials are currently recorded as a routine in several specialities of the modern clinical practice. Such potentials are the result of an electrochemical activity of a class of cells, named excitable cells that form the nervous, muscular and glandular tissues.

The trainer includes a transparent tank with a pipe section connected as a drain. The initial pressure is kept constant by the overflow in the head tank. The unit represents a planar central force system in which multiple forces act on a single point of application. The compression jib and the tension tie make up the jib crane, which is attached by adjustable clamping elements to a retaining bar. It consists of a bar of adjustable length (compression jib) and a chain (tension tie), which is adjustable, and both incorporate a spring balance to measure the bar forces in them.
The Unit for studying Forces in a Jib Crane is designed to study the tensile and compressive forces in a planar central force system based on the example of a jib crane.
Based on the example of a jib crane, forces are determined experimentally, theoretically and graphically: resultant cable force, tensile force and compressive force. The magnitudes and directions of the forces are graphically determined with a force parallelogram.
A weight holder and a set of weights apply loads to the jib crane through the junction of the compression jib and the tension tie.
The main frame is supported on aluminum blocks. The two guides are made of stainless steel, the rest of the components are aluminum.

Test rods: standard supply of 3 test rods: steel, brass and aluminum. They are 8 mm in diameter and 350 mm in length. They have marks every 50 mm, to make the performance of practical exercises at different lengths easier.
