The Uterine Balloon Tamponade (UBT) is a sterile, single-use medical device designed to control postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) by applying pressure to the uterus, thereby reducing blood loss and stabilizing the woman undergoing the condition. The balloon is inserted into the uterus, filled with saline solution or sterile water, and effective tamponade occurs rapidly to stop the bleeding.

The Resistor Reduced Voltage Starter 60 HZ is a reduced-voltage three phase starter that uses one or many resistors in series to start a motor to obtain given torque measures or limited current values. Used in electrical engineering technology teaching when an AC stator-resistance starter is required, the starter unit is housed in a full-size totally enclosed portable modular unit. This permits the utilization of banana-type jumper leads between the single phase power supply and other components in the circuit. Specifications and/or diagrams are silk-screened on the back of a clear-plastic front panel for ease of identification. It is equipped with thermal protection facilities, a start-stop push-button station and two pilot lamps indicating respectively the supply, the run state of the motor driven and an adjustable time delay. Connections to the unit are made through 4 mm standard color-coded, five-way binding posts. The trainer is protected by a either a diode or thermal-magnetic circuit breaker.
