Well Bore Hydraulic Demonstrator is designed to replicate many of the hydraulic conditions encountered in drilling operations. The Well Bore Hydraulic Demonstrator is a valuable tool for training process operators. These conditions are produced in a replica well-bore manufactured from industrial clear PVC that allows students to observe the flow patterns.
The Well Bore Hydraulic Demonstrator is equipped with process indication and manual control devices including metering valves and pressure gauges. Oil water and air represent the three common well-bore fluids liquid hydrocarbons, gaseous hydrocarbons, and produced water. The process fluids are recycled allowing for continuous operation without the discharge of either the oil or the water. The Well Bore Hydraulic Demonstrator is controlled by manually adjusting the various flow control valves.

Function:
The operator has control over several aspects of the flow inside the well-bore; the flow direction fluid flow rates, and the distance that the tubing is above the bottom of the hole. Throughout the well servicing and well production phases, the operator will create different flow patterns in the well-bore. The operator must balance these parameters to successfully achieve:

EFIS Trainer has been designed to enable avionics students to understand a typical digital bus EFIS system, and to perform maintenance and troubleshooting tasks that are typically encountered by avionics maintenance personnel. Electronic Flight Instrument System is the essential component of Glass Cockpit. he most widely used avionics data interface standards. It has been installed on many commercial passenger and transport aircraft including Airbus A310/A320 and A330/A340, Bell Helicopters, Boeing727, 737, 747, 757, 767. The fault panel allows for the simulation of typical aircraft EFISi nstallation faults including sensor feed faults. The faults are easy to select but not apparent to the student. A numbered switch panel or patching panel with cover is provided. The EFIS Trainer is based on Two Display Units, a Symbol Generator, a Control Unit, a Signal Simulator, and an Instructors Panel. Electronic displays are multi mode with ADI, HIS and Map modes. Map mode allows for superposition of Weather Radar data and sector display. Wiring harnesses in the trainer are representative of aircraft standards in hardware and wiring / looming techniques. Interconnect diagrams and panel circuit and layout diagrams are also provided.

Strain Gauge Training System

Strain gauges are used extensively in sensor systems to detect forces, moments and deformations. Three test specimens for tension, bending and torsion are each fitted with four strain gauge measuring points. The experimental unit provides a wide-ranging introduction to the fundamentals of measurement by strain gauges. The strain gauges are wired in the full bridge. The specimens are loaded incrementally allowing for the strain reading to be sequentially monitored. The specimens can be inserted quickly and precisely into the frame. The digital display also features a zero balancing function to allow for any preloading. The strain gauge measuring range is protected by a Plexiglas cover, which also makes it clearly visible for inspection purposes. The measurement amplifier supplies the bridge supply voltage, and displays the load-dependent "bridge detuning" digitally in voltage values.

1a Plane Frame With Strain Gauges is made from fully welded hollow square section steel members making a 45° truss. The end mountings also allow the frame to be inverted for work on an inverted truss. Seven members of the truss are 1a Plane Frame With Strain Gauges With half bridge arrangements. The truss has special end mountings supplied that allow different end bearing conditions to be used, i.e. pinned and roller end.
The truss has been specially designed to be tested in the MAGNUS Test frame. The standard accessories supplied with the are required. Each 1a Plane Frame With Strain Gauges pairing has a cable loom attached and terminated with a numbered connector. The experiment calls for joint deflections to be measured during testing. Safety chains and high level reaction supports are supplied with this apparatus. This connector can be fitted into the optionally available Data Acquisition Interface for direct reading of the member strain during loading.
