The instrument basically designed for sharpening and recondition wide range of high speed and carbide tipped tolls as side & face milling cutters, convex & concave cutters, gear hobs, end mills, cylindrical cutters, angle cutters, shell mills reamers, drills, taps etc.
The trainer covers a wide range of topics in mechanical vibration technology. Forced vibration is generated with an electrical motor-driven imbalance exciter. A mechanical drum and a polar diagram recorder record the vibration. The single parts are stored in the protective storage compartments of the laboratory trolley. A practice set for torsional vibrations is available as accessories. The exciter frequency can be set precisely on a control unit with digital display. An oil damper is used for vibration abatement. It is mounted on a sturdy, low-vibration frame which is installed on a laboratory trolley with braked wheels. Quick fastening elements for the formed grooves for quick and accurate experimental set-up. A bar-type oscillator that can be adjusted with weights is included for absorber experiments. Alternatively, measured values can be evaluated with the software for data acquisition. The sensor enables to measure electrically the amplitudes of various oscillators.

The apparatus consists of a small test cylinder. The temperature of cylinder is measured with the help of temperature sensor inserted in the center. The hot water bath is provided with a heater and is controlled by digital temperature controller. The cylinder is heated by a constant temperature water bath, till steady state is reached. During heating, temperature of the cylinder is function of time and hence, heating of cylinder is under unsteady state heat transfer. An agitator is also provided to maintain the constant bath temperature.

A U section, L section and rectangular beam cantilever is horizontally supported within a rotating clamp which fits in a substantial frame attached to the Universal Frame and Stand The rotating clamp enables the loading and deflection planes to be set relative to the cross section axes. Experiment investigating the Unsymmetrical Bending And Shear Centre Apparatus of different sectioned beams when the loading is not in the plane of a principal axis. A protractor scale is fitted to the substantial block and a pointer on the specimen references against this scale.

Unsymmetrical Cantilever Apparatus Angular adjustment can be made easily and the angular position can be read off using the integral angular scale and pointer. The free end of the cantilever has point loads applied using the load hanger and calibrated weights. Unsymmetrical Cantilever Apparatus allows the vertical and horizontal deflections of the free end of a test specimen to be measured when loading occurs along a principle axis or at a known angle. Unsymmetrical Cantilever Apparatus holds the indicators relative to the rigid end of the cantilever to ensure accurate deflection measurement. A solid base holds a rigid vertical end support for the clamping of the test cantilevers. Test cantilevers and rectangular cross section are supplied. The free end movement is measured using deflection indicators. Shear centre work can also be undertaken.
